The Brightbox dedicated Ruby on Rails hosting company, has formed a strategic partnership with FiveRuns, a monitoring products and other open source and commercial systems firm.

Under the terms of the partnership, the firms will provide an exclusive, bundled offering including FiveRuns RM-Manage Rails application monitoring software with Brightbox's virtualized server solutions for Rails applications. Customers of Brightbox's 512 and above offerings will automatically be activated with a FiveRuns account, and be able to log-in, download and install the RM-Manage client on their Brightbox servers. FiveRuns will provide full support for all of the new accounts directly. Combining Brightbox’s simple, powerful and scalable hosted Rails environments with FiveRuns industry-first monitoring tools will enable customers to ensure their Rails applications operate at peak performance in a fully monitored server environment.
