March 27, 2008 - NTT Com to launches Global Unified Threat Management service
NTT Communications (NTT Com) launches Global Unified Threat Managed (Global
UTM) service, which will provide Arcstar(TM) Global IP-VPN customers with
integrated services for planning, constructing, managing and implementing
effective protection against network security threats.
Global UTM utilizes a range of security technologies to provide IP-VPNs
with comprehensive protection against threats. A service package typically
includes modules for integrated firewall, IPSec VPN, iIntrusion Protection
System(IPS) antivirus content and spam filtering.
The service enables customers to utilize outsourced security management
with 24/7 support to monitor their network traffic and protect themselves
against threats that could potentially impact their businesses. Security
incidents are managed expertly by NTT Com's Security Operation Center
(SOC), which specializes in root-cause analysis, incident remediation and
other security-management measures.
Some of the features iclude:
